POPPUO POPPUO How can a local product remind us of childhood happiness? Poppuo Poppuo is a rebranding of a local durian popcorn snack. Translated as PopKing in Japanese, Poppuo Poppuo drives its inspiration from the Japanese’s tendency of deploying cute mascots, otherwise known as Yuru-Kyara (loose or relaxed mascot) in their campaigns. Dori-Dori (a durian hedgehog) and his friends serves to bring out our fun childhood memories, as well as reminding people that happiness can be found in the simple things in life.
